Fix the disk errors:

  • Open the command prompt and run as administrator.
  • Then type in the following command.

chkdsk X:/f

Modify the registry:

  • Press Windows key + R key
  • The RUN dialogue box will appear
  • Type Regedit in the dialogue box and click OK
  • Then head over to the location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystemCredSSPParameters
  • Click each S-1-5 folder and then double click on ProfileImagePath and expand the profile lists
  • Make sure the first four profile lists have the following ProfileImagePath

%SystemRoot%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService

  • However if any of them doesn’t have profile image then that it means you’ve missing profiles
  • Backup the registry and delete the profile list with no Profile Image Path

  • Press Windows key + R key
  • The RUN dialogue box will appear
  • Type diskmgmt.msc in the RUN box and click ok
  • Now right click on Windows System Partition and choose Mark Partition as Active
  • Reboot the computer to save changes
